Description: Jen Wilkin, a writer for the Gospel Coalition and a speaker, recently engaged in a bit of Scriptural misinterpretation in order to subtly denounce the reasons homeschooling parents pull their children from the public schooling system, classifying their motivations as conceited and ignorant of the effect such an act would have the on the “community”. Curious, because Joshua mustn’t have cared what his Hebrew kinsmen thought of him when he chastised their indifference toward honoring God by stating, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”.
